  Forland has launched a new MPV called Safari, featuring 7 seats, and a decently powerful engine alongside modern features and amenities. It competes directly with Suzuki’s famous APV, which is commonly used by large families and car rental services for trips to northern areas. Engine Powering the Safari (Deluxe and Comfort variant) is a 1,500-CC 4-cylinder EFI engine, alongside a 5-speed gearbox. The engine produces 107 hp and 147Nm of torque, which is similar to Suzuki APV (104 hp and 128 Nm torque) but with slightly better torque. The Standard model comes with a 1,300 CC engine with the same 5-speed transmission. The MPV is only available with a manual transmission. Forland claims that Safari manages a 13-14 km per liter fuel consumption for in-city driving.   Steel bar prices has fallen to record low after the ongoing anti-smuggling on steel scrap and a drop in the USD rates The price of the steel bar fell to a record low by Rs50000 per tonne. The steel bar prices were dropped to Rs240000 from Rs290000. On the other hand, the rates of cement and bajri (sand) and bricks have skyrocketed which also increased the construction costs.

  The price of petrol has been dropped by Rs40 per litre in Pakistan. According to notification issued by Oil and Gas Regulatory Authority, the rate of petrol has reached Rs 283.38 per litre with a reduction of Rs 40 per litre. the price of high-speed diesel (HSD) has been reduced by Rs 15 per litre to Rs 303.18.
