Dollar falls below Rs290 in interbank

The Pakistani rupee strengthened further on Tuesday as the US dollar's value plummeted below the Rs290 mark in the interbank market, reaching its lowest level in one and a half months.

The Pakistani rupee (PKR) continued its merry run against US dollar (USD) in currency market on Tuesday morning.

“The USD goes down by 1.08 PKR and trading in interbank at Rs289.78”, foreign exchange dealers have stated.
