Power division announces revised tarff for domestic consumer

After the federal government decision to increase the electricity tariff rates. The power division announced significant hike in tariff for domestic user. effective from July 2024

The new electricity tariff which inclues taxes will be implemented in a structure based on consumption brackets.

According to power division:

The non protected domestic user using 1 to 100 units will be charged 37.38 per unit after the taxes.

The non protected domestic user using 101 to 200 units will be charged 45.15 per unit after the taxes.

The non protected domestic user using 201 to 300 units will be charged 50.17 per unit after the taxes.

The non protected domestic user using 301 to 400 units will be charged 59.76 per unit after the taxes.

The non protected domestic user using 401 to 500 units will be charged 61.70 per unit after the taxes.

The non protected domestic user using 501 to 600 units will be charged 63.24 per unit after the taxes.

The non protected domestic user using 601 to 700 units will be charged 69.27 per unit after the taxes.
