Whatsapp voice message transcription is roolling out in android bet version. The feature is now part of the whatsapp beta version 2.24.15.5 for Android.

As the name suggest will transcribe your voice messages. The same feature was previously rolled out to ios users last may.

Whatsapp voice message transcription is currently supported in English , Spanish , Portuguse(Brazil), Russian and hindi with more languages to be added soon. Users who opt in to the new feature will have to download additional data package which will ensure all message transcripts are generated on-device.
